The small print, human-sized
Policies
What this site is, what it stores, and what it sells (nothing): the house rules in plain language.
This is a portfolio site
Whitethorn & Vale, the Vale of Whitethorn, every cable, cabin, person and fare here is invented for a web design portfolio. Nothing is for sale, nothing can be booked, and every form is a demonstration with a disclosure on it.
What the site stores
One thing: your theme preference, in your browser's local storage, under the key wv-theme. No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party requests. Forms run entirely in your browser.
Built to WCAG 2.2 AA
Keyboard navigable throughout, visible focus states, a skip link, semantic landmarks, labelled controls, contrast-checked palettes in both themes, and every animation disabled under reduced-motion settings.
The words and pictures
Site text and artwork are the portfolio's own. Type is Anybody and Familjen Grotesk, both under the SIL Open Font License, self-hosted from this site. No real ropeway's livery, identity or timetable is referenced or copied.
